Tips & Gratuity Policy

DÌON distributes 100% of electronic tips and service charges to eligible service staff through a points-per-hour system. The following role weights reflect the relative responsibility and contribution of each position. Owners do not participate in tips.

How the System Works
1.⁠ ⁠Each staff member earns points = weight × hours worked on the shift.
2.⁠ ⁠All tips and service charges go into a single pool.
3.⁠ ⁠Pool ÷ total points = € per point.
4.⁠ ⁠Each staff member receives points × € per point.

Transparency & Governance
•⁠ ⁠DÌON issues a tip summary with every payroll and a monthly roll-up report.
•⁠ ⁠Any changes to weights or distribution must be published before taking effect.
•⁠ ⁠Staff may raise questions or suggestions with the Tips Committee.

Booking Policy

We look forward to welcoming you Above it All. Here are a few small notes to ensure your evening feels as effortless as the view.

Deposits in December
December is a busy month. To hold your table, we ask for a €20 deposit per guest. It’s not an extra charge — it’s simply credited back to your bill on the night.

Cancellations
Tables of 1–6 guests — please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reduce numbers.

Tables of 7 or more — we ask for 7 days’ notice.
If notice isn’t given, deposits are non-refundable. (We’d much rather see you than keep your deposit, so just give us a heads-up.)

Timings
Your table is reserved for the time you book. If you’re running late, let us know — after 15 minutes we may need to release the table.

A note on atmosphere
We keep things elegant. That means no balloons, no confetti, no decorations — or party paraphernalia; the skyline is décor enough. We love energy in the room, but please be mindful of fellow guests.

Allergies & dietary needs
Please tell us any allergies or requirements when you book. We’ll always do our very best, though our kitchen can’t promise to be completely allergen-free.

Service
A 12.5% discretionary gratuity is added to all tables of 5 and more.
We’ll take care of the rest. You just bring the good company.
